Detecting skin cancer for early prevention.
At Chatham Skin Clinic, we focus on catching skin cancer as early as possible, when it is most treatable.
We use the advanced FotoFinder ATBM system to transform how skin cancer is detected. By integrating high-resolution imaging, AI analysis, and digital dermatoscopy, we capture detailed views of you skin lesions, helping identify melanoma and other skin cancers as early as possible.
How It Works
1.
Full-Body Digital Photography
A high-resolution auto-focusing camera takes standardized images of your skin, ensuring clear and consistent results for comparison over time.
2.
Handheld Dermatoscope for Close-Ups
If a mole or lesion requires further inspection, our physician uses a magnified digital dermatoscope for detailed imaging.
3.
Automated Image Tracking
The AI-powered system automatically compares new scans to previous ones, flagging any changes for further evaluation.
4.
Physician Evaluation & Follow-Up
Dr. Queenette Asuquo will review the results, discusses any concerns, and schedules follow-up exams as needed.

Mole mapping using Al technology
The FotoFinder ATBM Master allows Dr. Queenette Asuquo GP Dermatologist to examine your skin using high-resolution total body images combined with dermoscopic analysis. This advanced imaging system helps detect new moles and track changes in existing ones, supporting earlier treatment and improved outcomes when skin cancer is found.
FotoFinder technology at Chatham Skin Clinic, assists in identifying a range of skin cancers, including: melanoma, basal cell carcinoma, and squamous cell carcinoma.
Who should consider mole mapping?

Mole mapping is available to all patients and is an excellent tool for proactive skin health monitoring. However, it is especially recommended for individuals at higher risk of developing melanoma, including those with:
- Fair skin or skin that burns easily
- A large number of moles (especially more than 50)
- Large congenital moles
- Atypical (dysplastic) moles
- Moles that are new or changing
- History of significant sun exposure or blistering sunburns (especially in childhood)
- History of tanning bed use
- Family history of melanoma
- Personal history of skin cancer or melanoma
For patients in these higher-risk groups, regular monitoring is strongly advised.
Track your changes with total body photography
Total body photography provides a consistent, high-quality visual record of your skin, allowing for accurate comparison over time – one of the most effective ways to detect change early. This service can be repeated every 6–12 months, depending on your individual risk level.
After scanning is completed, Dr. Queenette Asuquo will personally review your results with you, explain any findings, and provide clear medical recommendations along with a detailed report. This process not only supports early detection, but also helps you better understand your own skin and recognize changes over time.
Important information
- Mole mapping is a private service and is not covered by OHIP.
- Documentation can be provided for submission to private insurance plans, where applicable.
